The result of a little photoshop, using the picture I took at the ruins in November 2013 and replacing the sky with a magenta filter added over the finished edit. The Church od St Thomas a Becket, Heptonstall was built in the 15th Century on the site of an earlier church. Severely damaged by a storm it was replaced by the Church of St Thomas the Apostle in 1854 which occupies the same churchyard. It is the final resting place of "King" David Hartley leader of the Cragg Vale Coiners and Sylvia Plath poet and Novelist. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
