The Duke of Lancaster is a former passenger ship that sailed routes between the UK and Ireland from 1955 until 1979, the ship was beached at Llannerch-y-Mor Wharf, North Wales in August 1979 with plans to turn it in to an attraction to get around the then Sunday Trading laws. After frequent legal battles the ship remains unused and seemingly unloved. The pictures were taken from the North Wales Coastal Path which runs around the dock the ship is beached at. I took this picture on the 28th July 2024 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
