Calder and Hebble Navigation Canal, Copley

The Calder and Hebble Navigation is an inland waterway connecting Sowerby Bridge with Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England. Once a thriving commercial route the canal is now used mainly for leisure. The picture shows the canal at Copley Valley, the land unseen to the left of the picture has since been developed in to a large housing estate, when I took this initial works were underway in the pursuit of the scheme.
