13th January 2024
Heptonstall is unique for a such a small village, it features 3 churches all within the traditional boundaries of the settlement, 2 of which sit in the same churchyard. The churches of St Thomas the Apostle and St Thomas a Becket share the same grounds, with the current church pictured, the Church of St Thomas the Apostle opened in 1854, severn years after the earlier church was damaged by a great storm. I took this picture in July 2020 with a Nikon d3300.
