Skeletal Sculpture on William Deighton Memorial, Brearley

The etching or sculpture is at the top of a memorial stone on the route 66 cycleway at Brearley, The memorial stone pictured there to commemorate tax official William Deighton who was murdered by the notorious Cragg Vale Coiners Gang led by "King" David Hartley. I have no idea who placed the stone there or why this spot was chosen the gang being centred around Cragg Vale and the murder taking place in Halifax.
