Rochdale Canal from the Co-Op Bridge, Sowerby Bridge

The Co-Operative Bridge has crossed over the Rochdale Canal at Sowerby Bridge since at least 1878, the metal structure provides access from the Industrial Road area of the town to Hollins Mill. Despite crossing the canal it can not be accessed from the footbridge or steps leading up to it. I took this picture in December 2013 with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
