Sterne Mills Weir and Bridge, River Calder, Copley

Taken at Copley Valley, Nr Halifax, West Yorkshire Sterne Mills Weir is all that remains of the former wireworks that occupied the site. The new bridge replaced the earlier Listed Sterne Mills Bridge which was demolished prior to being built as it was inadequate for the planned Copley Valley development either side of the River.
