2nd December 2023
These pictures were the result of waiting for my car to be fixed at a garage in Bradford, I hadn't planned to have much of a wander around but the car took longer than planned so i had more time to pass.
The stadiums traditional name is Valley Parade and it has been home to Bradford City AFC since 1903, the stadium was originally built for Manningham Rugby Football Club, the first ever champions of the Northern Union or Rugby League as it would become to be known and opened in 1886. It has played host to both the professional Bradford Football Clubs, City and Park Avenue, and both the professional Bradford Rugby clubs, Manningham and Bulls. The stadium has largely been rebuilt since the fire disaster that claimed 56 lives on the 11th May 1985.
They were taken on the 10th December 2022 with a Nikon d3300. More on my blog at www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
