Lockwood Railway Station is a stop on the Penistone Line to the south of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Opened on the 1st July 1850 as a 2 platform station, it was a junction for Meltham until 1965, and the 2nd platform was removed from service in 1989 although can still be seen today, the gated off connecting subway still visible at the stations entrance. I took this picture in August 2020 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
