Great Wall of Todmorden and the Rochdale Canal

Taken with a Nikon d3300 on the 27th August 2018. This picture shows a stretch of the Rochdale Canal between Dobroyd Bridge and Todmorden Lock, on this stretch of the Rochdale Canal you pass a high wall known by many as The Great Wall of Todmorden. Built in 1881 to allow the railway station to extend the goods yard the wall stands now to a bygone era of rail importance. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
