Prescott Fountain, Halifax

The Prescott Fountain at Spring Edge, Halifax has stood at it's current location since August 1932 having initially being sighted at Ward's End, Halifax before moving to King Cross. The fountain is made of Cornish granite, had 4 drinking taps, 2 large horse troughs and 4 smaller troughs for dogs. The feature on top was once a working lamp. Crossley Heath School can be seen in the background. This picture was taken on the 21st June 2023 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
