Spen Valley Greenway

Taken on the Spen Valley Greenway between Low Moor and the M62. The Spen Valley Greenway is a cycling and pedestrian route linking Low Moor with Dewsbury through the Spen Valley. The line passed through Low Moor, Cleckheaton, Liversedge, Heckmondwike before splitting towards Dewsbury and Mirfield and closed to passengers in 1965, before complete closure in the 1980's. I took this picture whilst walking the route in December 2019 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
