The People's Park is a public park, given to the people of Halifax in 1857 by Sir Francis Crossley a local carpet Manufacturer. Restored in the mid 1990's the park is to the west of Halifax town centre and features gardens, a play area, woodland, paths, terrace, pavilion, Crossley Fountain, Smith Sundial, bandstand, Thorp fountain and the Lake and Ponds which feature cast iron bridges to carry the paths across the water. I took this picture in May 2018 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
