Settle Railway Station

I took this picture in August 2016 with a Nikon d3300. Settle Railway Station is a stop on the famous Settle to Carlisle line in Northern England. The station was opened by the Midland Railway with the line on the 1st May 1876 and has remained in use since despite a number of attempts to close the Settle to Carlisle Railway Line. The station is located near to the centre of Settle and was originally named Settle New Station so as not to be confused with the nearby Settle Old Station now renamed as Giggleswick. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
