River Calder at Hollins Mill Bridge

Taken in September 2017 with a Nikon d3300 Camera, Dixon Scar Woods is a woodland that climbs up the Sowerby Hillside from the River Calder at the Hollins Mill area of Sowerby Bridge. The picture was taken as part of a set whilst walking the woodland and the river bank from Hollins Mill to Tenterfields. The footbridge crossers from the site of what was Hollins Mill to the area of Sowerby Bridge that is home to the cricket club, football team, cycle track and Dixy Woods. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
