Monkey Tunnel, Sowerby Bridge

Taken in September 2017 with a Nikon d3300 Camera, Dixon Scar Woods is a woodland that climbs up the Sowerby Hillside from the River Calder at the Hollins Mill area of Sowerby Bridge. The picture was taken as part of a set whilst walking the woodland and the river bank from Hollins Mill to Tenterfields. I have no idea why it is called Monkey Tunnel, it passes underneath the mainline railway between Sowerby Bridge and Mytholmroyd offering a pedestrian route between Tenterfields and Boulderclough. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
