Stoodley Pike is a 1300ft high hill overlooking the Town of Todmorden and the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire. The Stoodley Pike Monument stands at the hills summit, built in 1856 to commemorate the end of the Crimean War, it replaced an earlier monument that collapsed in 1854 that had been built to commemorate the defeat of Napoleon and surrender of Paris in 1814.
