Former Brockholes Railway Station Building

I took this in May 2016 whilst exploring the stations on the Penistone Line between Denby Dale and Berry Brow Railway Stations. Brockholes Railway Station opened in 1850 and became a single platform station in 1989 when the line was singled for much of it's length. The southbound platform is now a private house and has been restored to give the look of a heritage station.
Brockholes was a junction station from 1850 until 1959, the Holmfirth Branch line starting just south of the station. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
