Warland Valley from the Summit Hill

29th October 2024
I took this picture in November 2013 with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, I was out looking for the Summit Tunnel that runs underneath the Pennines Connecting West Yorkshire with Greater Manchester and eventually made my way up on to the hills above. The valley below which the Rochdale Canal flows through is home to the hamlet of Warland, the modern day border of West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
