William Deighton Memorial Stone

William Deighton was a tax inspector murdered my the Cragg Vale Coiners gang in November 1769. The murder took place in Halifax but the memorial stone can be found at Brearley between Mytholmroyd and Luddendenfoot, i'm guessing as this was the area linked to the coiners gang. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
