Fly Flatts - Warley Moor Reservoir, Halifax

Warley Moor is an area of Moorland high above Halifax on the border with Bradford. The area is also known as Fly Flatts and Ovenden Moor. Fly Flatts is the name of the reservoir that is home to Halifax Sailing club although it is more commonly known as Warley Moor reservoir now. The wind farm that occupies a large area of the surrounding area is known as Ovenden Moor Wind Farm and generates enough electricity for approx. 11000 homes. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
