29th October 2024
Construction of the Santa Lucia Railway station began in 1860 on the site of a convent and church after which the station is named. The current station building was completed in 1952 and the station has undergone refurbishment on a couple of occasions since. It can be found to the north of the city and is connected to the main land via the Ponte Della Liberta (Liberty Bridge). It connects trains to all over Italy and internationally to Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland and Great Britain. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
