10th August 2022
Taken in July 2013, Timanfaya is a Spanish national park on the island of Lanzarote, it covers an area of approx. 51 square miles and is made up of craters, soil, and the remains of volcanic activity that have struck the island on several occasions. The restaurant for the park uses the natural heat from the volcanic activity underneath the ground to cook the food on large open pits like the one pictured. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
