Fire Pit at Timanfaya National Park, Lanzarote

Taken in July 2013, Timanfaya is a Spanish national park on the island of Lanzarote, it covers an area of approx. 51 square miles and is made up of craters, soil, and the remains of volcanic activity that have struck the island on several occasions. The fire pit is one of a few demonstrations the park offers to show the power of volcanic activity. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
