Rochdale Canal at Walsden

Taken on the Rochdale Canal between Walsden and Todmorden in November 2013 using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The Rochdale Canal is a waterway opened as a trade route in 1804 connecting Manchester with Sowerby Bridge. Closed in large parts in 1952 the canal was restored as a leisure boating route and fully reopened in 2002. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
