All Souls Church and Spire, Halifax

All Souls Church is a redundant Anglican place of worship in the Haley Hill - Boothtown district of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The Spire is the 2nd highest in West Yorkshire and the church was consecrated on the 2nd November 1859. The church closed in 1978 when it was thought the cost of maintenance and the dwindling congregation made the repairs need unviable and All Souls was threatened with demolition for a time. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
