Manchester Bound Train at Ravensthorpe Railway Station

Opened in 1890, Ravensthorpe was originally called Ravensthorpe and Thornhill, as the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway had already opened an earlier station called Ravensthorpe on the line towards Heckmondwike.. There are plans currently ongoing to demolish the station and re-site it further west to serve all for lines near the station. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
