Ripponden Parish Church

Opened in June 1870, Ripponden Parish Church or St Bartholomew's Church was the 4th church to occupy the site and sits alongside the River Ryburn in what was once the township of Barkisland. Despite its location the legend says that the clock that faces Barkisland is uncleaned as the people of Barkisland refused to pay for its cleaning. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
