Rochdale Canal Towards Tuel Lane Lock, Sowerby Bridge

The Rochdale Canal is an inland waterway connecting Sowerby Bridge with Manchester, Northern England. Tuel Lane Lock was completed in 1996 to enable the canal to reopen. The lock replaced locks 3 and 4 that had been infilled decades earlier, it is the deepest canal lock in the United Kingdom. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
