Rose Grove Railway Station, Burnley

20th September 2023
Rose Grove Railway Station is a junction stop on the Caldervale and East Lancashire Lines in Burnley, Lancashire. Opened in 1848, the station was also the starting point for the North Lancashire Loop (Great Harwood Loop) from 1875 until closure of the route in 1964. The majority of the station buildings were removed in the 1980's when the station was reduced to unstaffed status. I took this picture on the 19th August 2022 with a Nikon d3300. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
