Rochdale Road and Crow Wood Park, Sowerby Bridge

Rochdale Road runs outside the main entrance to Crow Wood Park, the Park is a public space in the town of Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire and was formerly the grounds of Crow Wood Mansion which was demolished in the early 1920's. The grounds were purchased by the then Sowerby Bridge Council in 1919 for the use of a public park and developed over the next decade with the band stand completed in May 1930. The war memorial gateway was completed in 1929. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
