10th September 2022
Denton Railway Station is a stop on the Stockport-Stalybridge ine in Greater Manchester, England. Regularly featured in the top 10 least used railway stations in the UK, Denton opened in 1882 and until recently was served by 1 train a week, this was doubled to 2 trains in either direction in 2018. This poor train service at the station is so the operating company does not have to do a full impact analysis in to a full station closure. The last full year of passenger statistics show the station had an average of 1 passenger a month. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
